'Facebook Depression'

Seeing the above topic for the first time, one might think it is a joke but it isn't. I read in an online article that researchers at Stony Brook university in New york have found that too much Facebook usage can leave you more prone to anxiety and depression, especially if you're a teenager. Therefore, the question is 'does Facebook really cause depression?' Personally, I don't think it does because it's just something people go on for the fun of it. I know a lot of things go on on Facebook but that's not enough to cause depression.
A user on a forum website said, and I quote, "Facebook is what YOU make it. You can choose to have 300 "fake-friends" or 20 wonderful friends". I totally agree with this as Facebook really is what you want it to be.
