A GORILLA amazes zoo visitors by gently cradling a duckling.
They had feared the worst as the bird strayed into the ape's enclosure.Four-year-old Western Lowland gorilla Komale repeatedly picked up the tiny duck and pulled it towards his mouth.
But Komale was just playing with it - and then gave his feathered friend a cuddle.
The duckling had crossed a moat that surrounds an island where gorillas live at Bristol Zoo. It finally broke free and rejoined its family.
