Damon studied in Harvard University but he didn't graduate because he took part in student theatre.
In 1997 he was recognised by the "Los Angeles Times" as a "talented young actor" and his career started.
After he met Steven Spielberg who cast Damon as the main character in "Saving Private Ryan" in 1998.
In Miami he met his wife and they got married on Decembre 9 2005. One year after they had their first child and who they called Isabella. On August 20, 2008 they had their second child, Gia. Both girls were born in Miami but their last child was born in New York on October 20, 2010, her name is Stella.
But his wife, Lucia, has another child from a previous marriage, Alexia, and Damon became her stepfather.
